Lower Silesia Grand Prix
For the next time Millennium Docs Against Gravity Film Festival in cooperation with the cultural institution Odra-Film, is also organizing the Festival in Wroclaw. A jury, consisting of: Konrad Imiela, Robert Gonera, Agnieszka Wolny-Hamkało will give out the Lower Silesia Grand Prix Award and 1 500 euros to the winning film from the Festival Main Competition.
Konrad Imiela, an actor and a director, born in 1972. Since 2006 he has been the director of the Music Theater Capitol in Wroclaw. The art director of Stage Songs Review in 2006-2013. He acted in the Polish Theater (1994-2002) and the Capitol (since 2002). A writer of songs and musicals, a theater director (plays like “Rat Pack”, “The Three Musketeers”) and plain air shows (like “Wroclaw New Year’s Eve 2016/2017”).
Robert Gonera, an actor and a film activist, born in 1969. He acted in several dozens films, like “Samowolka” (AWOL) by Feliks Falk, “Dług” (Debt) by Krzysztof Krauze, “Big Love” by Barbara Białowąs. He was a cofounder of the Lower Silesia Filmmakers Forum and the director of the International Scriptwriters Festival INTERSCENARIO. He finished the Course for Creative Producers in the Wajda School.
Agnieszka Wolny-Hamkało, a poet, a writer and a publicist, born in 1979. The author of poetic books, like “Lonty” (Fuses), “Gospel”, “Ani mi się śni” (Not in My Dreams), “Spamy miłosne” (Love Spams), “Borderline”, poetic sketches “Inicjał z offu” (Initial off Camera), as well as novels “Zaćmienie” (Eclipse) and “41 utonięć” (41 Drownings). She also writes books for kids.
