Investigating Paradise

Nedjma, a young investigative journalist at a daily newspaper, is seeking paradise—but not just any kingdom of heaven. Her research examines the depictions of paradise by Salafist preachers in the Maghreb and the Middle East in online videos that support their radical propaganda and calls to jihad. Nedjma’s colleague Mustapha accompanies and helps her in this investigation which takes her all over Algeria.
