In a remote Haitian village a dance exists, with slaves and masters – it’s the whipping zombie ritual. Against an inducing trance music played by rara bands, men whip and fight till they die and are reborn in an infinite cycle. “Whipping Zombie” is the title of a unique ritual shot for the first time, taking place in a paradise where it is impossible to forget the horrors of the past.
